सोमवार को हुई जिला काँगड़ा के विधानसभा शाहपुर में मानसून की पहली बारिश से बोह में भूस्खलन से भारी नुकसान हुआ है।यहां भूस्खलन के मलबे के नीचे पांच से छ घर दब गए है।हादसे में कुछ लोग लापता बताए जा रहे है।जगह-जगह सड़कें बंद होने के चलते राहत व बचाव का कार्य शुरू नहीं हो पाया है।एनडीआरएफ व अन्य टीमें रास्ते में है।ज़िला प्रशासन ने रेस्क्यू के लिए प्रदेश सरकार से हेलीकॉप्टर की डिमांड की है।DC कांगड़ा डॉ निपुण जिंदल ने कहा कि कुछ ही देर में चॉपर व NDRF की टीम पहुंच मोके पर पहुंच जाएगी..

पंजाब वेतन आयोग की ओर से डॉक्टर्स के वेतन से NPA यानी नॉन प्रैक्टिसिंग अल्लोउंस को हटाने और घटाने की सिफारिशों के मद्देनजर हिमाचल प्रदेश मेडिकल ओफ्फिकर्स एसोसिएशन के आह्वान पर आज प्रदेश भर में दो घण्टे की पेन डाउन स्ट्राइक हुई। इस दौरान जिला कांगड़ा में छोटे-बड़े तमाम चिकित्सा संस्थानों में डॉक्टर्स की ओर से अपना कामकाज ठप रखा गया। इस दौरान कांगड़ा में सैकड़ों की संख्या में मरीजों और तीमारदारों को परेशान होते हुये देखा गया। अलग-अलग बीमारियों से ग्रसित जो भी लोग अपने स्वास्थ्य की जांच करवाने दूर-दराज के क्षेत्रों से अस्पतालों तक पहुंचे हुये थे उन्हें खुली ओपीडी के अंदर खाली कुर्सियों को देख बेहद मायूसी हाथ लगी।
