जम्मू-कश्मीर में इस समय परिसीमन को लेकर तैयारियां ज़ोर-शोर से चल रही हैं। केंद्र शासित प्रदेश में चार दिवसीय दौरे के आखिरी दिन परिसीमन आयोग ने तमाम प्रतिनिधिमंडलों से मुलाकात की। इस दौरान मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त सुशील चंद्रा ने बड़ा ऐलान भी किया। उनके मुताबिक परिसीमन निर्धारण के बाद जम्मू कश्मीर में 7 विधानसभा सीट बढ़ेंगी। साथ ही यहां पहली बार अनुसूचित जनजातियों के लिए सीटों को आरक्षित किया जाएगा। चंद्रा ने यह भी कहा कि आयोग के ड्राफ्ट को जनता के बीच रखा जाएगा और इसपर आपत्तियां भी मांगी जाएंगी।
