No other party fought corruption as much as the Congress and UPA. We took stringent legal actions against those who proved corrupt. I want to ask the BJP, has it taken any action against its leaders who are accused of graft? No; never. It was the Congress and UPA which the crucial legislation of Right To Information, which is a powerful tool to fight corruption. It was the Congress, which made a strong Lokpal Bill to fight corruption and got it passed in the Lok Sabha. But who stopped the passage of the same in the Rajya Sabha? It was the BJP which stalled it. They are not serious about corruption and their fight against corruption is just a show off. In fact, they are not against graft but are against the Congress. My dear brothers and sisters, you are soon going to use the power of votes in Himachal Pradesh. If you want that your state also join the process of development along with other states, then you will have to throw this the BJP government out from here and bring back the Congress government in Himachal. Many other parties will come to you with golden promises and will offer colourful dreams but I am confident that the people in Himachal are wise enough and vigilant to understand the reality and I believe that they will take a correct decision at the end.
