Stacie Halas is an ex-porn star-turned-science teacher who got fired from her teaching job when the school board was notified of her past profession. Halas appeared in court this week to try and get her teaching job back.
According to DailyMail, Halas used to teach at Richard B. Haydock Intermediate School in Oxnard, California until she was placed on administrative leave when students found pornographic movies of the 32-year-old teacher, who called herself “Tiffany Six”.

School officials in Oxnard said that they had no idea that Halas appeared in pornographic videos. They believe that that kind of information should have been made clear when Halas told them about the rest of her employment history.

Tom DeLapp, spokesman for Oxnard schools, said:

‘You lie to your boss, that’s grounds for dismissal. The fact that she listed being a lifeguard and being at Subway sandwich but chose to eliminate the fact that she was in the porn industry is very telling.'
This may be true, but Richard Schwab, Halas’ attorney, says that it was up to the school district to look into her background.

Schwab also argues that, even though the porn industry may not be a respectable industry to work in … it is a legitimate and legal one.

Schwab told NBC, “Prior employment is something you would normally look into. I think most of us have something in our backgrounds. And I ask anybody here to cast the first st.
