സര്ക്കാര് ജീവനക്കാര് അവധിക്കാലത്ത് കുട്ടികളെ ഓഫീസില് കൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിനെതിരെ സംസ്ഥാന മനുഷ്യവകാശ കമ്മീഷന്.സര്ക്കാര് ജീവനക്കാര് കുട്ടികളെ അവധിക്കാലത്ത് ഓഫീസില് കൊണ്ടിരുത്തുന്നതു മൂലം ഓഫീസ് പ്രവര്ത്തനത്തിന്റെ താളം തെറ്റുന്നതായി കമ്മിഷന് അക്ടിംഗ് അധ്യക്ഷന് പി. മോഹന്ദാസ് വിലയിരുത്തി. ഇതു തടയുന്നതിനു വേണ്ടി ഇതിനെതിരെ ഉത്തരവിറക്കണമെന്നാണ് മനുഷ്യവകാശ കമ്മീഷന്റെ നിര്ദേശം. 30 ദിവസത്തിനകം ഈ നപടി റിപ്പോര്ട്ട് ഫയല് ചെയാനും കമ്മീഷന് നിര്ദേശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. മനുഷ്യവകാശ പ്രവര്ത്തകനായ ഷെഫിന് കവടിയാര് നല്കിയ പരാതിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് കമ്മീഷന് വിഷയത്തില് ഇടപെടുന്നത്.

ആറ്റുകാല് ദേവീക്ഷേത്രം പൊങ്കാല വാര്ത്തകളിലിടം പിടിക്കുമ്പോള് കുത്തിയോട്ട വിഷയത്തില് ബാലാവകാശ കമ്മീഷന് സ്വമേധയ കേസെടുത്തു.ബാല പീഡനം നടക്കുന്നുവെന്ന ആരോപണങ്ങളെ തുടര്ന്നാണിത്.എഡിജിപി ആര് ശ്രീലേഖയുള്പ്പെടെയുള്ള പ്രമുഖര് ഈ ആചാരത്തിനെതിരെ പ്രതികരിച്ചിരുന്നു.5 മുതല് 12 വയസുവരെയുള്ള ആണ്കുട്ടികളെയാണ് മാതാപിതാക്കള് വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ പേരില് പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.കുത്തിയോട്ടത്തിന് ആറ്റുകാലിലെത്തുന്ന കുട്ടികള് 7 ദിവസം ക്ഷേത്രത്തില് താമസിച്ച് വ്രതമെടുക്കണം. ഉടുക്കാന് കച്ചതോര്ത്ത് മാത്രം.വെറും നിലത്ത് പുല്പ്പായയില് ഉറക്കം.ഒരെ ഭക്ഷണം.1008 ആവര്ത്തി ദേവിയെ സാഷ്ടാംഗം നമസ്കരിക്കണം.ഉത്സവത്തിന്റെ അവസാന ദിവം ചൂരല്ക്കുത്ത്.ഇടുപ്പിലെ തെലിയില് സ്വര്ണ്ണത്തിലോ വെള്ളിയിലോ തീര്ത്ത നൂല് കോര്ത്തെടുക്കും.ഈ നൂലുമായി ഘോഷയാത്രയിലുടനീളം നടക്കണം ഇങ്ങനെയൊക്കെയാണ് കുത്തിയോട്ട ആചാരങ്ങള്.ആറ്റുകാലില് മാത്രമല്ല മറ്റ് പല ദേവീക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലും ഈ ആചാരം മുറപോലെ അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നു.
