भारतीय वायुसेना का आज 85 वां स्थापना दिवस है....आज ही के दिन विजयदशमी के मौके पर भारत को पहला राफेल विमान मिलने जा रहा है.... रक्षा मंत्री पहले ही फ्रांस पहुंच गए है....जिसकी जानकारी रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने ट्वीट कर दी...राफेल के समझौते की बात कि जाए तो साल 2010 में यूपीए सरकार ने खरीद की प्रक्रिया फ्रांस से शुरू की...2012 से 2015 तक दोनों के बीच बातचीत चलती रही.....2014 में यूपीए की जगह मोदी सरकार सत्ता में आई...........सितंबर 2016 में भारत ने फ्रांस के साथ 36 राफेल विमानों के लिए करीब 59 हजार करोड़ रुपये के सौदे पर हस्ताक्षर किए.....सिंतबर 2016 में हुई इस डील को लेकर कांग्रेस ने दावा किया था कि यूपीए सरकार के दौरान एक राफेल फाइटर जेट की कीमत 600 करोड़ रुपये तय की गई थी...लेकिन मोदी सरकीर के दौरान जब डील को अंतिम रुप दिया गया...तो प्रत्येक राफेल विमान की कीमत करीब 1600 करोड़ रुपये का पड़ा.....

Forget the critics, this combat jet is now all set to be flown by serving pilots of the Indian Air force (IAF) who are going to miss the Mig-21 FL a lot less once they get their hands on this baby.
As Defence Minister A K Antony watched from under a shamiyana overlooking the runway, two Tejas light combat aircraft (LCA) came screaming, bombs and missiles fitted under wings, lifting effortlessly into the sky. As the fighters quickly faded into specks and then out of sight, hundreds of spectators watched two giant projector screens that played out video being transmitted live from the pilots' cockpits.
As the pilots positioned for their air-to-ground attack mission, the commentator revealed their target — the spectators' shamiyana. The screen showed the view from the pilot's head-up display (HuD) as he locked his navigation-attack system onto the target. Even as both fighters simulated a successful bomb release, a third Tejas closed in behind them. This was a friendly fighter on an air-to-air mission, tasked to shoot down the intruders. The projector screens switched to the pilot's helmet mounted display system (HMDS), which allows him to aim his weapons merely by looking at the target. In seconds, the intruders were in the 'no-escape zone' of his R-73 air-to-air missiles. Mission accomplished!
