Last night while attending the Whitney Houston Grammy Tribute Concert in Los Angeles, Britney Spears confirmed to Access Hollywood that her next single is called 'Scream and Shout' and is a collaboration with will.i.am. As you know, Will is currently guest mentoring on 'X Factor' on Team Britney, so this comes as no surprise.

Will actually said that's how he ended up on 'X Factor', from when they were in the studio recording together she asked him to join and he said, 'Hell yeah! Are you crazy?' It's been confirmed for a while that the duo would collaborate on Will's upcoming album, but then Will pushed the album release due to leaked stolen songs. The original song for the album was called, 'Sexy Sexy', but the new track is now officially called 'Scream and Shout'.

While on the red carpet last night Britney said, 'My new single is 'Scream and Shout' with will.i.am... you just have to hear it!' She continued, '[Will] is just, like, a little radical genius scientist in the studio when he's in there, and he just knows what he's doing...' Remember this isn't the first time the two have collaborated, on Brit's 'Femme Fatale' album they did 'Big Fat Bass'.
