Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh said that Power is one of the essential commodities for economic growth, development and livelihood of the people and the government aims to provide round the clock electricity to each and every household.
The DyCM said this while inaugurating 6.3 MVA Transformer costing Rs. 48 Lakhs at Mahanpur of Tehsil Basohli.
He said the transformer will help in resolving various power related issues of the people and said that the newly installed transformer along with the new 11 KV VCB panel will benefit 18 Panchayats and 30,000 souls. He said 152 transformers of the area will get augmented.
