Sundernagar: Himachal is set to research 25 different viruses. That is, after the PCR Lab established in Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Medical College of Mandi District, now another new testing lab facility is going to be provided. With this facility, the Hitech Virus Research and Diagnostic Lab (VRDL) at the Medical College Ner Chowk is going to start soon. The work of constructing this high-tech lab of medical college level has been going on on a war footing and it will be started soon after completion. 1.82 crore has been released by the Central Government to the college management for the construction of this lab. Lab staff and machinery are being prepared with this amount. Work is in progress regarding the construction of the lab and appointment of staff. Apart from this, 80 percent of the machinery used in the lab has arrived. At the same time, the machinery supplied for this new modern lab is being used in the already established PCR lab. With the commissioning of this lab, a huge facility is going to be available to the people. Through this, after researching 25 viruses, the facility of their treatment will also be available here
