The 'Hollywood hacker' who broke into the personal online accounts of Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis, and others has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for crimes including wiretapping and identity theft.
Christopher Chaney, 36, leaked several nude photos from his victims online. He pled guilty to nine felonies earlier this year after he was implicated in an FBI investigation.
In addition to the 10-year sentence, Chaney was also ordered to pay $76,000 in restitution to Johansson, Christina Aguilera, and Still Standing actress Renee Olstead. Though the court's decision seems harsh, he had originally faced many more charges and up to 121 years in prison.
Aguilera issued a statement before the sentencing that read in part, 'There is no compensation that can restore the feeling one has from such a large invasion of privacy.'
