Playback singer Hemachandra, who is the cousin of singer Karunya, has got engaged to his co-singer Sravani Bhargavi. According reports, their engagement took place in Hyderabad on Sunday, December 9. The singers, who have been seeing each other for the past few years, have reportedly planned to enter the wedlock on the Valentine's Day on February 14th, 2013. Hemachandra, who was born on June 2, 1988 in Hyderabad, got trained in Carnatic music under his mother Vedala Sasikala Swamy and Hindustani music at Government Music college in Hyderabad. He has also completed his Bachelors in Animation and Multimedia. He came to limelight after he became second runner-up on TV singing reality show in 2005. He turned a singer with the Tamil movie Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, but he shot to fame with his hit number 'Bammali Bommali' in Billa. Later he has crooned several hit songs and 'Heart lo Battery' (Snehitudu), 'Taladinchuku' and 'Extra Ordinary' (Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu) and 'Pillandam' (Dhenikaina Ready) are his most recent popular songs. He has also bagged Best Debut Music Director award in Cine MAA Awards for the film Ride.
