परिवर्तन के लिये जरूरी होती है एक पहल की, और अगर वो पहल युवा हाँथों से शुरू हो तो तस्वीर बदलते देर नहीं लगती।
रिठाला यूथ ब्रिगेड भी ऐसे ही एक पहल का नाम है जो अब एक मुहीम बन चुका है।
कुछ सालों पहले तक इस गाँव को लोग गन्दगी के लिये जानते थे , और यही बात गाँव के कुछ युवाओं को खल गई।
गाँव के कुछ युवाओं ने एक टीम तैयार की और खुद ही साफ़ सफाई का बीड़ा उठा लिया। चुनौती मुश्किल थी लेकिन इतने बड़े गाँव को साफ़ और स्वच्छ बनाने का संकल्प तमाम मुश्किलों से भी मजबूत था।
जो हाँथ कल तक लग्ज़री गाड़ियों की स्टीयरिंग पर होते थे उन हाँथों ने अब झाड़ू थाम लिये थे और धूल मिटटी के बीच साफ़ सफाई का अभियान शुरू हो चुका था।
कुछ ही दिनों में तस्वीर बदलती दिखाई दी और रिठाला यूथ का जोश भी बढ़ता रहा। आज नतीजा ये है की गाँव के चारो एन्ट्री के साथ साथ गालियाँ और सड़कें भी साफ हैं। स्वच्छता के मामले में आज रिठाला एक आदर्श गाँव के रूप में जाना जाने लगा है।
रिठाला युथ ब्रिगेड के इस मुहीम की सराहना गाँव के बड़े बुजुर्ग भी बखूबी करते हैं।
बुजुर्गो का आशीर्वाद और समर्थन मिला तो रिठाला यूथ ने सफाई के साथ साथ सामाजिक, देशभक्ति और सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों का भी आयोजन किया। रिठाला क्षेत्र में शान से लहरा रहा यह तिरंगा झंडा भी रिठाला यूथ के प्रयासों से ही लगवाया गया है।
रिठाला गाँव का जो महाराणा प्रताप पार्क कभी नशेड़ियों का अड्डा हुआ करता था , वहां आज बड़े -बुजुर्ग , महिलाएँ और बच्चे आराम से घूम टहल और खेल कूद सकते हैं।
