Anni (Kullu) : The people of Bada and District Tinder area of village panchayat Ropa of Anni development block and the villages around it finally got connected by road facility. With the commitment of the government, cooperation of the panchayat and public participation, the decades-old demand of 500 people from a dozen villages has been fulfilled. The faces of the people have blossomed by finding the road in the house gate, while the people of the benefited village are wholeheartedly thanking CM Jairam Thakur. After independence, the road reached these areas for the first time. Due to lack of roadways, people had to bring six to seven kilometers of foot luggage back home. Due to the apple-dominated area, people had to pay high freight rates to carry apple boxes on the road. On an average around 15 thousand boxes of apple emerge in this region. People were forced to spend a lot of money on laborers to take food and cylinders to their homes. In case of sickness, people had to take the patients on the back to the road. People have been waiting for a road facility for many decades.
