Confusion has arisen since then, before the announcement of Palampur to be made a municipal corporation. Due to this, Shanta Kumar has mentioned in a video today i.e. Saturday, that the final decision has been taken in the cabinet to make Palampur a municipal corporation. The first step is to form a corporation, it has started to increase the area. A report has been called from the district administration in this regard, which is also sent. He said that I have talked to CM Jai Ram Thakur, I have full faith in his words, there is no doubt in it. However, after the cabinet meeting in Shimla yesterday, Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj had also talked about increasing the area of Palampur Municipal Council, but Shanta Kumar is telling him the first step towards making it a municipal corporation. Now only the Jai Ram government of the state can tell the truth on this.
