ऊना। जिला मुख्यालय की सड़कों पर शनिवार सुबह उस वक्त माहौल एकदम रोमांचक हो गया जब देश के विभिन्न प्रांतों से आए सैकड़ों नन्हें खिलाड़ियों ने एकजुट होकर स्थानीय लोगों को बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ का संदेश देते हुए रैली निकाली। जिला मुख्यालय के इंदिरा गांधी खेल परिसर में शुरू होने वाली राष्ट्रीय खो-खो प्रतियोगिता से पूर्व नन्हे खिलाड़ियों ने हिमाचल प्रदेश के कृषि मंत्री वीरेंद्र कंवर की अगुवाई में जागरूकता रैली निकालकर लोगों को बेटी पढ़ाओ बेटी बचाओ का संदेश दिया। कृषि मंत्री ने एमसी पार्क पहुंचकर सैकड़ों की तादाद में जुटे खिलाड़ियों की इस रैली को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया। इतना ही नहीं कृषि मंत्री खुद भी रैली में शामिल हुए और लोगों से कन्या भ्रूण हत्या जैसी कुरीतियों को खत्म करने में सहभागिता दर्ज करने का आह्वान किया।
