The Netherlands will be raring to put on a fight, going into the second ODI against England on June 19 (Sunday), after facing an emphatic 232-run loss against the visitors in the first ODI. England set up a world record total in the first innings of 498, which was architected by the in-form batter Jos Buttler, who scored 162 runs off 70 balls on June 17 in Amstelveen.
Apart from Buttler, there were two more centurions in Phil Salt and Dawid Malan who scored 122 and 125 respectively. And Liam Livingstone arrived in the back-end to score 66* off 22 balls, hitting a 17-ball fifty along the way, which is the fastest ODI fifty for an Englishman. England broke the previous record of 481, which was set by themselves in 2018, and also broke the record for the highest total in List A cricket that was previously held by Surrey for a total of 496.
Going into the second innings, the game was virtually over for the Dutch, and it was only academic for the batters to turn up for a chase. However, the silver lining for the Dutch was the overall performance of their batters who put up a respectable total of 266 in 49.4 overs. Opener Max O’Dowd scored a run-a-ball 55 and Scott Edwards scored an unbeaten 72 off 56 balls, showing some promise for the hosts going into the next game.

England have already secured the three-match ODI series with a lead of 2-0.
Netherlands are all set to take on England in the final game of the three-match ODI series at the VRA Cricket Ground with the series already secured by the visitors. The home side has been quite below par with their bowling performances in both games as England batters have been splendid so far. They will be looking to end the series on a good note by producing a strong performance in the final game.
On the other hand, England have been dominant in both aspects, batting and bowling, and the current World champions will be expected to whitewash the hosts. Jason Roy was back among the runs in the previous game while Eoin Morgan’s struggle for form continued. The left-hander was dismissed for a ducks in both games and he will be desperate for runs.
Pitch Report
The two games played at the venue have been quite good for the batters and the bowlers have found it tough to restrict them. The same can be expected in the upcoming fixture and the team winning the toss will be looking to bowl first with the rain factor coming into play.

Netherlands vs England - 3rd ODI Match, Predicted Playing XIs & Stats Preview

India will try to put on a strong performance in the series finale against England on Sunday after being hammered by 100 runs at Lord’s. The visitors’ batting issues cost them the chance to win the series 2-0 as England put up a tough competition and leveled the series at 1-1 thus the two teams will now meet at Old Trafford in Manchester to decide the winner.
and Shikhar Dhawan will need to give the side a powerful start so that the middle order batters can capitalize on that. While Kohli’s form remains to be a concern, he will continue to bat in the top order at No. 3. Middle-order batters Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav will have a big role to play, be it a good start or a bad one.
The duo can be relied upon, and they will have a task to stand up to the team’s expectations as the two have been in good touch in white-ball cricket. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami will be the key players in the bowling lineup, whereas Yuzvendra Chahal would look to repeat his heroics from Lord’s.
England have been facing an issue in the batting lineup, as only Moeen Ali stepped up amongst the main batters in the previous two ODIs. Other batters of the top and middle order failed to put up a remarkable show on display. All the big names in the side – Jonny Bairstow, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, Joe Root, and even the skipper Jos Buttler – have failed to produce good performances with the bat in both games combined.
The major reason behind England’s win in the second game was the efforts of the bowlers. Reece Topley was the standout performer as he finished with six wickets under his belt and he would be expected to continue traumatizing the Indian batters. Moeen Ali’s all-round abilities may also act as a deciding factor in the final game.
Here's all the stats & approaching milestones you need to know ahead of the third game of the series.

Zimbabwe will lock horns with Afghanistan in the second ODI at the Harare Sports Club on June 6. Both teams will be heading into this contest on the back of contrasting results in the series-opener. The Afghans handed Zimbabwe a huge 60-run thrashing to go 1-0 up in the three-match series. After posting a big total of 276/5 batting first, the Afghanistan bowlers did the job by chipping in with wickets at regular intervals and completely nullified the hosts’ chances of staging a comeback through small partnerships.
Zimbabwe on the other hand had a day to forget with the ball despite taking two early wickets of openers Ibrahim Zadran and Rahmanullah Gurbaz after which the duo of Rahmat Shah and skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi staged a counter-attack with a match-winning 179-run third-wicket stand and the bowlers could never rediscover their rhythm from there on. All-rounder Sikandar Raza was the lone half-centurion for the hosts, scoring 67 with opener Innocent Kaia and captain Craig Ervine playing supporting knocks of 39 and 30 respectively, but their efforts were just not enough in the end.

Pitch Report
The Harare wicket will be a balanced one for both the batters and bowlers. The batters can go on to play impactful knocks once they get set, a run-fest can be expected here. However, since this is a used pitch, it might turn out to be a huge advantage to the spinners as the contest progresses. Therefore, the captain winning the toss here will have no hesitation in batting first.

A ‘middle muddle’ cost India the 1st ODI against South Africa. In fact, at the halfway mark, India were very much in the game, with their scorecard reading 137/1, chasing a target of 297. The experienced pros, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli were going through the motions with ease, and had set up the chase nicely for the Indian middle order to take it forward.
However, the wicket of Dhawan changed the complexion of the game, as the middle order failed to step up. From 137/1, India slipped to 214/8, as the Proteas dominated the visitors after the halfway mark. Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Venkatesh Iyer, and Ravichandran Ashwin could not cross the 20-run mark, and India fell 31 runs short of the Protean total.
On the other hand, the South African side will be upbeat and confident going into the second rubber. The Proteas were rocked early in their innings and were reduced to 68/3. However, Temba Bavuma and Rassie van der Dussen came together and put on a match-defining partnership of 204 runs for the 4th wicket, with both the batters scoring hundreds.
Even the Proteas’ bowling attack fired, as 5 out of the 6 bowlers used by South Africa scalped at least one wicket apiece, and none of the bowlers leaked runs at an economy rate of over 7 runs per over. So, India find themselves with their backs against the wall, as a loss in the 2nd ODI will mean that the visitors will surrender the series. On the other hand, the Proteas will look to continue from where they left off in the 1st rubber and seal the deal.
As we saw in the 1st ODI, the pitch will surely aid stroke-making. There will be a bit of help for the pacers in the early part of the innings, and the ball will nip around. The team batting first has won 5 out of the last 7 completed matches at this venue, and that should give an indication of what the captain winning the toss might want to do.
Watch out. #SAvIND #India #SouthAfrica

Pakistan will be locking horns with the Netherlands in the second One Day International at the Hazelaarweg, Rotterdam on Thursday, August 18. The visitors would be hoping to showcase a much better performance after having managed only a 16-run victory in the series opener despite having scored a mammoth 314/6 on the board.
The Men in Green have rested their pace spearhead Shaheen Afridi for this series so that he can be fresh for the Asia Cup 2022 starting August 27. Pakistan will begin their campaign against arch-rivals India in Dubai on the 28th of this month. Meanwhile, the other bowlers who are a part of the continental tournament would be looking forward to getting some much-needed match practice in the remaining two games.
The onus will be on skipper Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman to be among the runs again, and Imam-ul-Haq and the middle-order would be expected to step up from hereon. The good thing for Pakistan is that spin-bowling all-rounder Shadab Khan was among the runs in the first game and he would be expected to maintain consistency.
The Dutch, on the other hand, were poor with the ball in hand in the series-opener as they conceded a total well in excess of 300. Nonetheless, the batters showcased valiant performances with three half-centurions Vikramjit Singh, Tom Cooper, and Scott Edwards nearly doing the unthinkable.
Skipper Edwards remained at the crease right till the very end and scored an unbeaten 71 runs off 60 balls. He waged a lone war with hardly any support from the other end. His knock went in vain as the hosts were restricted to 298/8.
Pitch and conditions
Like the opening fixture, the Rotterdam surface is expected to be batting-friendly for the second match as well and the spinners might get some assistance from this pitch. Batting will be good in the second innings where the Dutch batters made the Pakistani bowlers toil hard in the previous game. Therefore, the captain winning the toss

Australia and England will battle it out against each other in the second Ashes Test on Thursday, December 16. Pat Cummins made his captaincy debut in his own distinct style by dominating the proceedings in the first Test match. The hosts displayed an all-around effort to take a 1-0 lead in the Ashes.
They outplayed the visitors on the very first day before securing victory midway through the fourth day. Cummins registered his five-wicket haul in England’s first innings as the visitors were wrapped up at just 147 runs. Australia’s Travis Head who was selected ahead of Usman Khawaja, scored an impressive century to exude his class.
David Warner also displayed his flair by taking command of the game but fell just six runs short of his century. In England’s second innings Nathan Lyon secured four wickets to reach the incredible feat of 400 Test wickets. The second Test which is scheduled to be played under the floodlights might challenge the batters.
James Anderson and Stuart Broad weren’t a part of the setup for the first Test however they are likely to make the cut for the Adelaide Test. Josh Hazlewood who is suffering from a side strain will miss the game as Jhye Richardson has been named as his replacement.

England vs New Zealand - 3rd Test Match, Predicted Playing XIs & Match Preview

Ireland will kick off their campaign against the Netherlands in the T20 World Cup 2021 on Monday. This match is scheduled to play at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Ireland lost their previous encounter against Zimbabwe by a margin of 5 runs.
Coming to the Netherlands, they too have some quality players on paper and would look to kickstart their campaign on a winning note. In their last meeting with Ireland, Netherlands walked off with a 21-run triumph. Hence, we can expect a thrilling contest as both the teams look forward to carrying the winning momentum to the rest of the competition.
The boundaries are relatively big on either side of the ground, and it requires immense power from the batters to clear the fence. The wicket looks to be a good one for batting and anything over 160 is a good score on this wicket.
