सिल्ली प्रखंड अंतर्गत बनता गांव में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस मनाया गया इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि के रुप में सिल्ली विधायक सुदेश कुमार महतो उपस्थित हुए। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा किआज की महिला निर्भर नहीं हैं। वह हर मामले में आत्मनिर्भर और स्वतंत्र हैं और पुरुषों के बराबर सब कुछ करने में सक्षम भी हैं। हमें महिलाओं का सम्मान जेंडर के कारण नहीं, बल्कि स्वयं की पहचान के लिए करना होगा। हमें यह स्वीकार करना होगा कि घर और समाज की बेहतरी के लिए पुरुष और महिला दोनों समान रूप से योगदान करते हैं। यह जीवन को लाने वाली महिला है। हर महिला विशेष होती है, चाहे वह घर पर हो या ऑफिस में।वह अपने आस-पास की दुनिया में बदलाव ला रही हैं, और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि बच्चों की परवरिश और घर बनाने में एक प्रमुख भूमिका भी निभाती है। यह हमारी जिम्मेदारी है कि हम उस महिला की सराहना करें और उसका सम्मान करें जो अपने जीवन में सफलता हासिल कर रही हैं । कार्यक्रम से पूर्व महिला समिति के सदस्यों द्वारा नृत्य प्रस्तुत कर मन मोह लिया स्थानीय स्कूली बच्चों द्वारा एक से एक रंगारंग कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किया गया। समूह में बेहतर कार्य करने के लिए समिति के सदस्य एवं स्कूली बच्चों द्वारा किए गए सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम को लेकर उन्हें सम्मानित किया गया कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता मीनाक्षी देवी नेकी। इस अवसर पर जिप सदस्य गौतम कृष्णा साहू वीणा देवी प्रमिला कुमारी शर्मिला कुमारी शिखा देवी रीता महली अरुणा पांडे दयंती देवी समेत काफी संख्या में महिला उपस्थित थी। इसके अलावा रामपुर सिल्ली लोटा आदि जगहों पर भी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस मनाया गया।

पूर्व उप मुख्यमंत्री एवं आजसू सुप्रीमो सुदेश कुमार महतो अपने जन्म दिन के मौके पर सोमवार को सिल्ली प्रखंड के 12 हजार विद्यार्थियों को प्रोत्साहित किया । योजना के तहत प्रखंड के संकुल संसाधन सेवी, पूर्व शिक्षक, शिक्षक, जनप्रतिनिधि, ग्राम प्रधान, चूल्हा प्रमुख एवं सक्रिय दीदी ने बच्चों बीच वर्ग दो से आठवीं तक के विद्यार्थियों के बीच लेखन सामग्री का वितरण किया । ज्ञात हो कि कोरोना काल के दौरान सुदेश कुमार महतो के निर्देश पर बच्चों को ऑनलाइन पढ़ाई करने एवं उनके कोर्स को पूरा कराने के लिये घर पर ही बच्चों के बीच दो चरणों में पारा शिक्षकों एवं शिक्षकों के सहयोग से एक प्रतियोगिता करायी गयी थी। इसी प्रतियोगिता को सफलता पूर्वक पूरा किये जाने के लिये प्रतियोगी बच्चों को प्रोत्सहित किया गया। कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में बीपीओ कृष्णा हेंब्रम, मनोज कुमार, सीआरपी कल्याणी कुमारी, जैकलिन विलियम एक्का, अपर्णा कुंडू, रूबी देव, विंध्याचल राय, झालु महतो, निखलेश महतो, शुभाशीष दास, भागीरथ हजाम, मोहम्मद हाशिम, अशोक महतो, दिलीप कुमार महतो आदि का सराहनीय योगदान रहा।
