आज रोहतास जिले के डेहरी में बिहार के पंचायतीराज मंत्री मुरारी प्रसाद गौतम का आगमन हुआ। जहाँ वे डेहरी प्रखंड कार्यालय पर एक अभिनंदन सह उदघाटन कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुए ।अभिनंदन समारोह में प्रखंड के महागठबंधन के कार्यकर्ता एवं सभी जनप्रतिनिधियों ने पंचायती राज मंत्री का स्वागत किया। इसके साथ ही मंत्री ने जिले के विभिन्न योजनाओं का उद्घाटन भी किया । इस कार्यक्रम में डेहरी विधानसभा के राजद विधायक फतेह बहादुर सिंह के अलावे महागठबंधन के कई नेता , कार्यकर्ता एव प्रखंड के जनप्रतिनिधि उपस्थित थे ।

भारत के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री स्वर्गीय राजीव गांधी की 78 वीं जयंती जिला व्यवहार न्यायालय सासाराम के पास मनाया गया।
रोहतास जिला कांग्रेस कमेटी के पदाधिकारी एवं कार्यकर्ताओं ने सद्भावना दिवस के रूप में पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री की जयंती मनाते हुए उनके तैल चित्र पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर राष्ट्रीय एकता एवं सद्भावना की शपथ भी ली।
कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता कर रहे नोटरी सह बरिष्ठ कांग्रेसी नेता कन्हैया सिंह नोटरी ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि महज 40 वर्ष की उम्र में ही राजीव गांधी देश के प्रधानमंत्री बनने के साथ उन्होंने शहर की तर्ज पर गांव के विकास की
परिकल्पना की।जिसके तहत आज नली-गली पक्कीकरण, विद्युतीकरण आदि का लाभ लोगों को मिल रहा है।उनका मानना था कि समाज के अंतिम पायदान पर खड़े व्यक्ति को भी सरकार की योजनाओं का लाभ मिले तभी देश का समग्र विकास संभव हो सकता है। गौरतलब हो कि पूरे भारतवर्ष में हर वर्ष 20 अगस्त को पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री राजीव गांधी जयंती को सद्भावना दिवस के रूप में मनाई जाती है तथा लोगों को राष्ट्रीय एकता एवं समरसता का संदेश दिया जाता है।

खबर सासाराम से है। अपराधियों ने शिक्षक दिवस के दिन भी शिक्षक को नहीं बख्शा और गुरु जी के दो लाख रुपये उड़ा लिए। सासाराम के नगर थाना के गौरक्षणी में दिनदहाड़े उचक्कों ने एक शिक्षक की बाइक की डिक्की से दो लाख कैश उड़ा लिए। बताया जाता है कि सासाराम के मोहड्डिगंज के रहने वाले 46 वर्षीय शिक्षक हरिदेव कुमार जब सासाराम के स्टेट बैंक से अपने दो लाख नगद निकाल कर अपने घर जा रहे थे। इसी बीच गौरक्षणी मोहल्ले के पास अपनी बाइक को रोककर सब्जी खरीदने लगे, इसी बीच उचक्कों ने उनकी बाइक की डिक्की से दो लाख नगद गायब कर दिए। पीड़ित शिक्षक हरिदेव कुमार करगहर के समरडीहा के उत्क्रमित मध्य विद्यालय कन्या के शिक्षक हैं। घटना के बाद शिक्षक हरिदेव कुमार नगर थाना पहुंचकर अपनी शिकायत दर्ज कराया। पुलिस छानबीन शुरू कर दी है।

नगर थाना सासाराम पुलिस ने मंदिर से चोरी गए आभूषण के साथ एक चोर को गिरफ्तार किया है।
रोहतास एसपी आशीष भारती के निर्देश पर नगर थानाध्यक्ष सासाराम एसके सिन्हा के नेतृत्व में किए गए छापामारी में सासाराम से एक चोर को गिरफ्तार कर पुलिस पूछताछ जारी रखी है। गिरफ्तार चोर के पास से मिले मंदिर के आभूषण का जांच जारी है। गौरतलब हो कि 4 नवंबर 2022 को अड्डा रोड सासाराम स्थित मां दुर्गा मंदिर के आभूषण चोरी हुई थी।
जिसके बाद लोगों ने पुलिस गश्त को लेकर सवाल भी खड़े किए थे लेकिन नगर थाना सासाराम की पुलिस ने इस मामले को गंभीरता से लेते हुए कई जगहों पर सीसीटीवी खराब तकनीकी ढंग से अनुसंधान शुरू किया तो 4 दिन के अंदर ही मंदिर के चोरी के आभूषण के साथ एक चोर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।
जो रोहतास पुलिस के लिए बड़ी सफलता मानी जा रही है।
क्योंकि मंदिर में चोरी लोगों की आस्था से जुड़ा हुआ था।

सासाराम प्रखंड क्षेत्र के न्याय-नेकरा गांव के एक खलिहान में अचानक आग लगने से धान के बोझे जलकर खाक हो गए। आग की लपेटे तेज होने के कारण सूचना पर पहुंचे अग्निशाम सेवा के लोगों के काफी मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पाया गया।
मौके पर पहुंचे अगरेर थानाध्यक्ष धर्मेंद्र कुमार ने बताया कि अचानक लगी इस आग में काफी मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पाया गया।
मौलिक अधिकार पार्टी के रोहतास जिला अध्यक्ष विनोद शर्मा ने कहा कि गरीबों के फसल जलकर राख हुए हैं आपदा विभाग उन्हें जल्द मुआवजा प्रदान करें। उन्होंने कहा कि सासाराम प्रखंड अंतर्गत न्याय नेकरा में खलिहान में रखे धान की बोझे में अचानक आग लगने से आधा दर्जन किसानों के धान जलकर राख हो गए।

रोहतास जिले के कोचस में सड़क हादसे में एक युवक की मौत के बाद आक्रोशित लोगों ने सड़क को जाम कर विरोध प्रदर्शन करने लगे। कोचस के सहायक थाना पर परसथुआ ओपी क्षेत्र के रूपी बांध में आरा -मोहनिया पथ को जाम कर दिया है। घटना के बारे में बताया जा रहा है कि अशोका बिल्डकॉन सड़क निर्माण कंपनी के द्वारा आरा-मोहनिया पथ का निर्माण किया जा रहा है इसी दौरान कार्य में लगे एक जेसीबी के चपेट में आने से बाइक सवार दो लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए हैं। घायलों में नैनाकोन निवासी शिव नारायण त्रिगुण के पुत्र हर्षित त्रिगुण के इलाज के क्रम में मौत हो गई है। जबकि अरविंद कुमार के पुत्र विकास कुमार गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए हैं। कोचस पुलिस के द्वारा शव को कब्जे में लेकर सासाराम के सदर अस्पताल में पोस्टमार्टम कराया गया। शव को लेकर परिजन जैसे ही रूपी बांध पहुंचे वहां पर लोग आक्रोशित हो गए और शव को सड़क पर रखकर सड़क जाम करते हुए वरीय अधिकारियों की मांग पर अड़े हुए हैं। आरा मोहनिया पथ तथा पूरी तरह से बाधित कर दिया है। वहीं मौके पर कोचस एवं परसथुआ की पुलिस पहुंचकर आक्रोशितों को समझाने के प्रयास कर रही है लेकिन आक्रोशित पुलिस की नहीं सुन रहे तथा पुलिस के विरोधी नारेबाजी कर रहे हैं।।
