With Punk'd set to return for a 9th season on MTV on March 29th, they have finally released the season trailer. You see that Demi Lovato, Kellan Lutz, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber all in the short trailer for the series. As previously discussed, they won't have a set host despite previous rumors of Justin hosting it. It does seem as if he will be a common pranker on the show, though. It will premiere on MTV at 10 EST on March 29th for those who are eager for the show to return at long last.
I have to say, I am not crazy about the return of this series. However, I do think that it could do well if they keep within their niche. With PrankStars being over and having a wider selection of stars at their hands it just seems to be in a better place for its return. I do wish that they would have stuck with the original format though. Without a host, it feels almost as if it isn't a series. I am sure that Ashton Kutcher could have picked a regular host if he wanted too.
