बीते कई दिनों से धीमे पड़े कोरोना ने एक बार फिरसे देशभर में रफ़्तार पकड़ ली है, और बहुत ही तेज़ी से बढ़ता दिख रहा है. आपको बता दें कि बुधवार को जारी किए गए आंकड़ों के मुताबिक पिछले 24 घंटे में संक्रमण के 17 हज़ार 135 केस सामने आए, जो कल की तुलना में 24.8% अधिक है. बात करें तो इससे एक दिन पहले मंगलवार को जारी हुए आंकड़ों में 13,734 नए केस दर्ज़ किए गए थे. इसके अलावा बुधवार को संक्रमण से 47 लोगों की मौत हुई. मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक़

क्षेत्रफल की दृष्टि से हजारों किलोमीटर में फैले लद्दाख में जहाँ गांव शहरों से काफी दूरी पर बसे हैं तो वहीँ दुर्गम रास्ते होने के कारण आवाजाही भी आसान नहीं हैं | वहां के सरकारी स्कूलों की बात करें तो वहां भी कुछ ख़ास सुविधाएँ ना होने की वजह से पढ़ने और पढ़ाने वालों को काफी समस्याएं पेश आती हैं | लद्दाख के 230 सरकारी स्कूलों को सहायता कर रही है 17000 फ़ीट फाउंडेशन | इनमें से 100 स्कूल कारगिल में और करीब 130 स्कूल लेह में हैं | प्रक्रिया के आधार पर स्कूलों को चुना जाता है और उसके बाद वहां प्लेग्राउंड, लाइब्रेरी, फर्नीचर और डिजीलैब की सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करवाई जाती है | 17000 फ़ीट फाउंडेशन साल 2012 से लद्दाख के स्कूलों के लिए बहुत सी संस्थाओ के सहयोग से काम कर रही है जिनमें से मुख्य तौर पर SBI , एक्सिस, HDFC और ICICI बैंक के सहयोग कर रहे हैं और वहां के करीब 25000 बच्चों को इसका फायदा मिल रहा है |
