Nathan Coulter-Nile, the Australian fast bowler, stated that staying in the bio-security bubble of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is easier for him than going back to Australia. Coulter-Nile is yet to play a game for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the ongoing edition of the T20 tournament. The Mumbai-based team has, thus far, preferred Trent Boult, Adam Milne and Jasprit Bumrah in the pace department.
Coulter-Nile’s comments came after Adam Zampa, Kane Richardson and Andrew Tye, among other Australian cricketers, pulled out from the tournament. Though he was surprised by the move from his national teammates, he respected their calls keeping in mind the COVID-19 second wave in India.
“I spoke to Zamps a little while ago and he made a very compelling argument for going home. But for me, I feel like it’s safer for me to stay in the bubble than try and get home at the moment,” he stated.
“I feel like something’s got to give for getting home. I’m just going to wait and see how that plays out. Worst comes to worst, we’ll have to quarantine in Dubai for a couple of weeks before we can fly home. But I’m sure it will get sorted,” Coulter-Nile added.
Even as Richardson and Zampa were part of the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Tye was a part of the Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals (RR). It’s also pertinent to note that the Royals have lost, England’s Liam Livingstone and Ben Stokes as well due to various reasons.
In India, the coronavirus pandemic isn’t showing signs of slowing down. Nearly three lakh fresh cases have been recorded on a daily basis. Richardson and Gaga have collaborated for years and in late 2011 released a photo book documenting ten months in the life of the famed singer. 'Lady Gaga x Terry Richardson,' which contains 350 color and black and white photos, was released to positive reviews and reached No. 5 on the New York Times best seller list.

In reaction, along with the photo of her new 'do, the Vogue cover girl tweeted, 'I did it for u Terry. I'm sorry about ure mommy. She has princess die, but were all princess high.' And since we've sadly become experts at deciphering Gaga's cryptic tweets, we're guessing 'princess die' was referring to her song 'Princess D.I. E.,' a controversial tribute to the late Princess Diana.

Lady Gaga has shaved her head in a show of support for her photographer friend Terry Richardson following the death of his mother this week.
The famed snapper has been left devastated after his mom, Annie Lomax, passed away on Tuesday.
Gaga took to her Little Monsters website to share the sad news, and she posted a picture of her radical new hairstyle.
In the snap, Gaga appears to have cut off her long hair and shaved the back of her head, and she reveals her new look is a tribute to Richardson’s mum.
She writes, “I did it for u (sic) Terry. I’m sorry about ure (your) mommy. She has Princess Die (late British royal, Diana, Princess of Wales), but were (we are) all princess high.”
Richardson, who collaborated with Gaga on a recent picture book, posted his own tribute to his mother on his online blog, sharing a picture of her and writing, “R.I.P. Annie Lomax, my mom 1938-2012.”
