2016 Toyota Fortuner Launched In India at 25.92 Lakh,Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the new generation Fortuner in the country, with prices starting at ₹ 25.92 lakh for the base petrol manual variant, going up to ₹ 31.12 lakh for the top-end diesel automatic variant (all-prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). The all-new SUV was first revealed last year in Thailand and was teased recently too. The premium SUV marks the second major launch from the Japanese carmaker in India after the Innova Crysta. The all-new Toyota Fortuner is a complete departure from its predecessor and is underpinned by the new TNGA platform. The new architecture has helped shed weight on the SUV, while also improving the ride and handling of the model. The styling is a lot more urban, moving away from the butch appeal, with the SUV boasting of sharp lines, slender headlamps with LED projector lights and LED DRLs.
