बिहार के गोपालगंज में कथित तौर पर जहरीली शराब पीने से मरने वालों की संख्या बढ़कर 13 हो गई है. परिजनों का आरोप है कि सारे लोग जहरीली शराब पीने से मरे हैं... अगर परिजनों का दावा सही है तो शराब बंदी के बाद अवैध शराब से जुड़ा ये सबसे बड़ा कांड है.. हालांकि प्रशासन इसे जहरीली शराब कांड मानने से इनकार कर रहा है... मरने वालों के ब्लड सैंपल जांच के लिए भेजे गए हैं...जांच के लिए गठित टीम गोपालगंज जा रही है..बताया जा रहा है कि मंगलवार को गोपालगंज के हरखुआ खजूरबानी इलाके के पांच लोगों को तबीयत बिगड़ने के बाद अस्पताल में भर्ती किया गया.. मारे गए लोगों में चार एक ही मोहल्ले के रहने वाले हैं. स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि इनके पेट में तेज दर्द हुआ और उल्टियां शुरू हो गईं, जिसके बाद उन्हें नजदीकी अस्पताल ले जाया गया. लेकिन उन्हें बचाया नहीं जा सका... प्रशासन के दावे के उलट लोगों का आरोप है कि इनकी मौत जहरीली शराब पीने से ही हुई है...वहीं इस घटना के बाद से ही बीजेपी ने बिहार सरकार को घेरना शुरू कर दिया है. बीजेपी ने आरोप लगाया है राज्य में सरकार की शराबबंदी के कारण अवैध शराब कारोबार धड़ल्ले से फल-फूल रहा है.
बिहार में अप्रैल महीने में नीतीश कुमार की सरकार ने पूर्ण शराबबंदी की घोषणा की थी...लेकिन जो तस्वीर गोपालगंज से आईं हैं उससे लगता है कि प्रदेश में अवैध शराब धड़ल्ले से बिक रही है, जिसको रोकना सरकार के लिए चुनौती बन गया है।
