कर्नाटक में सभी राजनीतिक दल चुनाव प्रचार में जुटे हुए हैं। जनता को लुभाने के लिए बड़े बड़े वादे किए जा रहे हैं। बीते सोमवार को BJP ने और आज कांग्रेस ने कर्नाटक में अपना घोषणापत्र यानी मैनिफेस्टो जारी किया। हमारा फोकस बीजेपी के मेनिफेस्टो में लिखे हुए यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड यानी समान नागरिक संहिता पर रहेगा। बता दें कि जनसंघ के ज़माने से ही यूनिफार्म सिविल कोड चुनावी मुद्दा रहा है। कर्नाटक में बीजेपी ने अपने घोषणा पत्र में यूनिफार्म सिविल कोड को प्रमुखता से रखा है। गुजरात और हिमाचल प्रदेश के बाद कर्नाटक में भी बीजेपी ने UCC यानी Uniform Civil Code लागू करने का वादा किया है। माना जा रहा है कि 2024 के चुनाव से पहले भाजपा का अगला टारगेट UCC ही हो सकता है। 2014 और 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव के संकल्प पत्र में भी भाजपा ने इसे शामिल किया था।
