विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर वृक्षारोपण के साथ रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन सासाराम में किया गया।
रुद्रा फाउंडेशन ऑफ इंडिया के कोऑर्डिनेटर राधेश्याम पांडेय की मौजूदगी में सासाराम में विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। इस रक्तदान शिविर में पहुंचे लोगों को पौधा तथा प्रशस्ति पत्र देकर सम्मानित भी किया गया ।उन्होंने कहा कि विश्व पर्यावरण के दिवस पर यह रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन किया गया ताकि लोगों को जीवन बचाने हेतु निशुल्क रक्त उपलब्ध कराया जाए। सासाराम रौजा रोड स्थित आर्ष हॉस्पिटल परिसर में शिविर का आयोजन किया गया।
जहां रुद्रा फाउंडेशन से जुड़े लोगों ने रक्तदान भी किया।

नहौना पंचायत के बीडीसी रूपा कुमारी ने बताया कि सासाराम प्रखंड परिसर में पंचायत समिति के बैठक में अनाधिकृत रूप से दो 3 की संख्या में शिक्षक शामिल हो गए पंचायत समिति के सदस्यों ने बैठक की कार्यवाही शुरू किया तो अनाधिकृत रूप से प्रवेश किए बैठक में शिक्षक ने हो हल्ला करने लगा
जिस पर पंचायत समिति की बैठक में हंगामा शुरू हो गया और अंततः हंगामा को देखकर बैठक कार्यवाही रोकना पड़ा। सबसे बड़ी बात तो यह है कि जनप्रतिनिधि के बैठक में आम लोगों की प्रवेश करने की इजाजत किसने दी है इस बात को संज्ञान में लेते हुए और यह पदाधिकारी भी कैमरे के सामने कुछ भी कहने से साफ तौर से इंकार कर रहे हैं लिहाजा जब सभा को संबोधित करने की बात आई तो बैठक में मौजूद कुछ सरकारी विद्यालय के शिक्षकों ने बच्चों को दिखाना शुरू कर दिया यह हम नहीं बल्कि कैमरे में कैद हुए तस्वीर ही बयां कर रहे हैं दरअसल नव पंचायत के बीटीसी रूपा कुमारी ने बैठक में बैठे वरीय पदाधिकारी से सवाल किया कि जनप्रतिनिधि के बैठक में शिक्षक क्यों बोल रहे हैं इस पर मुखिया प्रतिनिधि के बेटे ने जब कर विरोध करना शुरू कर दिया अब ऐसे में सवाल उठना लाजिमी है कि क्या जनप्रतिनिधि और जिला प्रशासन की आमतौर की बैठक में एक सरकारी कर्मचारी उपस्थित हो सकते हैं और उन्हें जनप्रतिनिधि के सवाल के जवाब पर विरोध करना कितना उचित होगा इस बात पर कई सारे सवालिया निशान खड़े हो रहे

जिले के नोखा प्रखंड क्षेत्र अंतर्गत उत्तरी बरांव ग्राम पंचायत में श्मशान घाट निर्माण में बरती जा रही अनियमितता को लेकर वार्ड सदस्य सहित कई समाजसेवियों ने सवाल खड़े किए हैं। वार्ड सदस्य सुजीत पासवान ने बताया कि उत्तरी बरांव पंचायत के वार्ड 4 में श्मशान घाट का निर्माण कराया जा रहा है जिसमें वार्ड सदस्य की सहमति के बगैर मुखिया अपने मनमाने तरीके से श्मशान घाट का निर्माण करा रहे हैं तथा इसके निर्माण में घटिया सामग्री का भी इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है। श्मशान घाट के चहारदीवारी के निर्माण में घटिया किस्म के ईट एवं कम मात्रा में सीमेंट का उपयोग हो रहा है। साथ हीं धूस के समान नहरी बालू का इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है।

खबर सासाराम से है। जहाँ की रोहतास जिले के चेनारी थाना क्षेत्र के मामले ममरेजपुर में एक 18 वर्षीय युवती को सांप ने डस लिया। जिसके बाद परिजनों ने जहरीले सांप को पकड़ लिया। फिर सांप काटने से जख्मी हुए युवती तथा विषैले सांप दोनों को भी लेकर परिजन सदर अस्पताल पहुंच गए। एक मिट्टी के घड़े में विषैले सांप को लेकर अस्पताल पहुंचने पर स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों में थोड़ी देर के लिए हड़कंप मच गया। आनन-फानन में शिखा कुमारी को इलाज के लिए ट्रामा सेंटर में भर्ती कराया गया। वही परिजन विषैले साप को अस्पताल परिसर में ही घड़े से बाहर निकाल दिया तथा लोगों को दिखाने लगे। जो कौतूहल का विषय बन गया। परिजनों ने डॉक्टर को भी विषैले सांप को दिखाया तथा कहा कि इसी सांप ने शिखा कुमारी को डस लिया है। इसके बाद डॉक्टर बेहतर तरीके से मरीज का इलाज करने लगे। सांप काटने के बाद सांप को पकड़ के अस्पताल लेकर चले आने की घटना चर्चा का विषय बना हुआ है। बता दें कि घायल शिखा कुमारी ममरेजपुर के अशोक बैठा की पुत्री है।
