Sonam Bajwa might be predominantly working in the Punjabi film industry but her fan base in the Hindi market is quite huge. Recently, as the actress caught up with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, she opened up on this overwhelming love and why it has taken her so long to do a full-fledged Hindi film. She also revealed how the wait has made it all the more difficult to take that step. Sonam also revealed feeling disappointed when Sip Sip didn’t make it to the final cut of Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor’s Street Dancer 3D. She discussed the rise of Punjabi cinema and how much there is still left for it to be a part of the pan-India circuit. Sonam remembered her Miss India days, sharing why she cried backstage during her finale and the expectations she had from the pageant. She discussed being bullied for her looks, racism in the country and the beauty standards in Hindi and Punjabi film industries. Sonam also did the Entertainers tour with Akshay Kumar, Nora Fatehi and Disha Patani recently and she shared her experience of the same, while also discussing the effect of the success of Diljit Dosnajh, Gippy Grewal, Jassie Gill in Hindi circuit.
