भड़की आग ने सैकड़ों परिवारों की रोजी-रोटी छीनी,400 से ज़्यादा झुग्गियां जल कर राख

कपूरथला स्थित रेलवे कोच फैक्ट्री (आरसीएफ) के बाहर रोड के पास आग लगने से 400 झुग्गियां जल कर राख हो गई हैं। बताया जा रहा है कि बुधवार बाद दोपहर अचानक चिंगारी से भड़की आग ने सैकड़ों परिवारों की रोजी-रोटी छीन ली। उनका वर्षों की मेहनत से जमा किया हुआ सारा सामान जलकर स्वाह हो गया। अभी किसी जानी नुकसान की सूचना नहीं है। हालांकि आग में झुग्गियों में पड़ा समान, नकदी आदि सबकुछ जल गया है।
कुछ एलपीजी सिलेंडर फटने की बात कही जा रही है लेकिन अभी इस बारे में पक्कै तोर पर कुछ नहीं कहा जा रहा है। फायर ब्रिगेड की गाड़ियों की तरफ से आग बुझाई जी रही है।
आरसीएफ के बाहर झुग्गियों में लगी आग पर आरसीएफ एंप्लाईज यूनियन ने गहरी संवेदना प्रकट की है। उन्होंने पंजाब सरकार व लोकल प्रशासन से मांग की है कि इन गरीब कामगारों की मदद के लिए वे आगे आएं। सरकार उन्हें उनके नुकसान के लिए मुआवजा दे। साथ में इनके रहने के लिए उचित प्रबंध जल्द किया जाए।
