जिला चंबा के उपमंडल सलूणी की ग्राम पंचायत भांदल में मनोहर हत्याकांड के बाद उपमंडल सलूणी में बने तनावपूर्ण माहौल के बाद सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कड़ी कर दी गई है। उपमंडल मुख्यालय से लेकर, चकोली, किहार, भांदल, लंगेरा तक हर जगह पुलिस बल तैनात कर दिया है। जिला के प्रवेश द्वार के अलावा जम्मू की तरफ से चंबा की ओर आने वाली गाड़ियों की गहन जांच की जा रही है।मनोहर हत्याकांड के बाद भड़की हिंसा के बाद सलूणी में डीआईजी समेत एक और एसपी व पुलिस जवानों की पांच कंपनियां तैनात की हैं। डीआईजी उत्तरी रेंज अभिषेक दुल्लर और एसपी नुरपुर अशोक रत्न को आगामी आदेशों तक चंबा भेजा गया है।
