Una : A function was organized under the Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign on Wednesday at the Block Development Officer's office at Una district headquarters. On this occasion, the soil of about 109 villages of 63 gram panchayats of the development block was handed over to Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan for the construction of Amrit Vatika to be built in the capital of the country, Delhi. Former MLA and State Vice President of Congress Party Satpal Raizada attended the program as the chief guest, while ADC Una Mahendra Pal Gurjar attended specially. He said that Amrit Vatika is being built by mixing soil from every corner of the country and this is a lesson for the different castes, communities and sects of the country to live in a harmonious environment.
