In the midst of torrential rains in district Sirmaur, a bridge (wire crate) on one side of the under-construction bridge for Mandherwa village of Vikrambagh panchayat collapsed on Saturday morning. The video of riots falling due to rain is also going viral on social media.
Actually, the work of this bridge started two years back with Rs 4 crore. Due to the very slow pace of construction work, people have not been able to get its benefit till date. Whereas, the Markanda river is in spate at this time. This bridge was not built, but its bridge has definitely fallen.
