കടലിൽ അപകടത്തിൽ പെട്ട് പോയ മനുഷ്യർക്ക് രക്ഷകരായെത്തിയ ഡോൾഫിനുകൾ.കാലിഫോര്‍ണിയയിലെ മറീനസ്റേറ്റ് ബീച്ചില്‍ ടോഡ്‌ ഹെന്‍ട്രി തന്‍റെ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളുടെ കൂടെ സര്‍ഫിംഗ് ആസ്വദിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്ബോഴാണ് പതിനഞ്ച് അടി നീളമുള്ള ഒരു സ്രാവ് ഹെന്‍ട്രിയെ ആക്രമിക്കാന്‍ വന്നത്. ശക്തമായ ആക്രമണത്തില്‍ ഹെന്‍ട്രിയുടെ പുറംഭാഗത്ത് സ്രാവിന്‍റെ കടിയേറ്റു. തുടരെയുള്ള ആക്രമണത്തില്‍ സര്‍ഫ് ബോര്‍ഡില്‍ താടിയിടിച്ച സ്രാവ് തന്‍റെ അരിശം തീര്‍ത്തത് ഹെന്‍ട്രിയുടെ വലത് കാല്‍ കടിച്ചെടുക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമത്തിലാണ്. പുറംഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് രക്തം ഊര്‍ന്നു വീഴുകയും ആക്രമണത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെടാനുള്ള തത്രപ്പാടില്‍ ശക്തിക്ഷയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുമ്ബോള്‍ ഇവിടെ വെച്ച്‌ ജീവിതം അവസാനിച്ചെന്ന് കരുതിയിരിക്കുമ്ബോഴാണ് ഒരു കൂട്ടം ഡോള്‍ഫിനുകള്‍ രംഗത്തെത്തുന്നത്.ആ ഡോള്‍ഫിന്‍ കൂട്ടങ്ങള്‍ ഹെന്‍ട്രിക്ക് ചുറ്റും വൃത്താകൃതിയില്‍ ഒരു സംരക്ഷണമേഖല സൃഷ്‌ടിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ആക്രമണകാരിയായ സ്രാവിനെ അകറ്റിനിര്‍ത്തി. ഉയര്‍ന്നുപൊങ്ങുന്ന തിരമാലകളില്‍ കരയിലേക്കുള്ള വഴികാണിച്ചു കൊടുത്ത് കൊണ്ട് ഹെന്‍ട്രിയുടെ ജീവന്‍ അത്ഭുതകരമായി ഡോള്‍ഫിന്‍ കൂട്ടങ്ങള്‍ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി.ന്യുസിലാണ്ടിലെ വടക്ക് ഭാഗത്തുള്ള ഒരു സ്ഥലമാണ് Whangarei. റോബ് ഹോവേസ് എന്ന ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ലൈഫ് ഗാര്‍ഡും രണ്ടു കുട്ടികളും റോബിന്‍റെ രണ്ടു സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും കരയില്‍ നിന്ന് ദൂരെ കടലില്‍ കുളിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതിനിടയില്‍ ഒരു കൂട്ടം ഡോള്‍ഫിന്‍ പൊടുന്നെനെ അവരുടെ നേര്‍ക്ക് നീന്തിവന്നു. റോബിന്‍റെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെയും സുഹൃത്തുക്കളെയും ഡോള്‍ഫിനുകള്‍ ആദ്യം ചുറ്റി വളഞ്ഞു. ഡോള്‍ഫിനുകള്‍ അവരോടൊപ്പം കളിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് കരുതി ആ വലയത്തില്‍ നിന്നും പുറത്ത് പോകാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ച റോബിനെ രണ്ടു വലിയ ഡോള്‍ഫിനുകള്‍ അതിനു സമ്മതിക്കാതെ റോബിനെയും ആ വളയത്തിനകത്താക്കി. ആ സമയത്താണ് പത്ത് അടിയുള്ള ഒരു വെള്ളസ്രാവ് വെറും രണ്ടു മീറ്റര്‍ അകലത്ത്‌ റോബിന്‍റെ നേരെയടുക്കുന്നത് അദ്ദേഹം കാണുന്നത്.അഞ്ചുപേരുടെ ജീവന്‍ രക്ഷിക്കാനായി നാല്പത് മിനിട്ട് നേരം സ്രാവ് തിരിച്ചു പോകുന്നത് വരെ ഡോള്‍ഫിന്‍കൂട്ടങ്ങള്‍ വാലിട്ടടിച്ച്‌ അവരെ ഒരേ സ്ഥലത്ത് നിറുത്താന്
