The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly witnessed noisy scenes for the second consecutive day today on the issue of disruption of power supply in the Kashmir Valley following heavy snowfall.
As soon as the House met today, the National Conference (NC) members led by Ali Mohammad Sagar alleged that the government has failed to restore electric supply in the Kashmir Valley that was hampered due to the heavy snowfall there.
The NC members disrupted the proceedings of the House and demanded the government to issue a statement in the House.

मध्यप्रदेश के दतिया जिले में संविदा संयुक्त संघर्ष मंच की अनिश्चितकालीन हड़ताल वुधवार को लगातार 31वें दिन जारी रही। हड़ताल के 31वें दिन म.प्र. संविदा कर्मचारियों ने आंदोलन को तेज करते हुये संविदा नीति की अर्थी निकाली और मध्यप्रदेश सरकार के मुख्यमंत्री के विरूद्ध नारेबाजी कर विरोध जताया। विरोध के दौरान समस्त संविदा कर्मचारी दतिया शहर के मुख्य मार्गो से अर्थी निकालकर प्रदर्शन किया। संयुक्त संविदा मंच में सभी विभागों के कर्मचारियों ने सीतासागर से ‘‘संविदा नीति’’ की अर्थी को निकाल शहर भ्रमण कराते हुये किला चौक से होते हुये सीतासागर तालाब पर संविदा नीति का दहन संस्कार किया गया।
