With production on 2015's biggest movies getting set to rev up, details are hitting us fast and at a steady pace and the latest news reveals who will be battling the Avengers come May 1st. Marvel has announced that actor James Spader will be taking on the role of the new baddie, Ultron in the sequel. Spader is known for films like Pretty In Pink, Sex Lies and Videotape, Stargate and of course Less Than Zero where he co-starred with Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr. He's probably best known for his roles on television though, like The Practice, Boston Legal and The Office and he'll be seen this fall as a master criminal in NBC's The Blacklist. There have been several versions of Ultron in the comics, but he's most commonly a robot created by Hank Pym, aka Ant-Man with artificial intelligence who rebels against his creator and seeks to destroy the Avengers. Though his origin will be changed for the film, with Tony Stark being his most likely creator, his body is usually made of adamantium, so he's practically indestructible, but even if he is damaged, he can repair himself. He possesses superhuman strength, speed and intelligence as well as the power of flight, can shoot energy blasts, mind control humans as well as machines, including a robot army that he can create himself. Needless to say, The Avengers are going to have a tough time with this baddie. Spader will utilize his voice for the role of Ultron and most likely motion capture as well..
