नार्थ दिल्ली में अभी हाल ही में बनकर तैयार हुआ रामपुरा रेलवे अंडरपास मानसून की पहली आहट में ही जलमग्न हो गया है --निगम चुनाव से पहले केंद्रीय मंत्री डॉ हर्ष वर्धन से इसका उद्घटान बड़ी धूमधाम से करवाकर इसकी उपयोगिता और गुणवत्ता के गीत गायें गए थे --लेकिन इसकी हालत क्या हुयी है आप खुद देखिये।
पहली बारिश में ही ये रेलवे अंडरपास एक तालाब मे तब्दील हो गया --बच्चों के लिए ये जलक्रीड़ा का मौक़ा है तो राहगीरों और रिक्शा चालकों के लिए मुसीबत का सबब बन गया है --मानसून की पहली बारिश के बाद इसकी जो हालत हुई है उससे दिल्ली नगर निगम के अधिकारीयों में हड़कंप मच गया है , आनन् फानन में पानी निकालने का काम शुरू तो किया गया लेकिन निगम की ये कोशिश भी नाकाफी नजर आई... वहीं हमारी टीम ने जब निगम अधिकारी से इस मसले को लेकर बात करनी चाही तो वो कमरे पर भी बोलने से तो बचते दिखे साथ ही कैमरा देख भागते नजर आए।
2009 में शुरू हुआ ये अंडरपास निर्माण की तय समय सीमा और धनराशि से ज्यादा इस्तेमाल हुआ है --इसके डिजाइन को लेकर भी एक्सपर्ट और जानकारों ने सवाल उठाते हुए शिकायतें की लेकिन कहीं कोइ सुनवाई नहीं हुयी --रामपुरा त्रिनगर , और केशव पुरम को पंजाबी बाग़ से जोड़ने वाला ये अंडरपास दिल्ली नगर निगम की खामियों और धांधलियों का नमूना है --स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है की महज राजनीतिक फायदा लेने के लिए इस अधुरे अंडरपास का उद्घघाटन किया गया।
इस अंडरपास का इस्तेमाल इस मानसून में हो पायेगा ये कहना तो मुश्किल है

निर्माण शुरू होने के नौ साल बाद आखिरकार रामपुरा अंडरपास का उद्घाटन हो ही गया।
उद्घाटन समारोह में क्षेत्र के सांसद और केंद्रीय मंत्री हर्षवर्धन खुद पहुँचे जिन्होंने अर्धनिर्मित प्रोजेक्ट का उद्घाटन कर मोदी सरकार के द्वारा किये गए कार्यों का खूब बखान किया और नोटबंदी के फैसले को भी सही साबित करने में लगे दिखे।
इस अंडरपास के निर्माण में हुई धांधली और भ्रष्टाचार के बारे में हमने आपको सबूत समेत जानकारी देने का काम किया है। जनता की शिकायतों को हमने सांसद महोदय तक भी पहुँचाने की कोशिश की , जिसके बाद उनका क्या कहना था -- आप खुद ही सुन लीजिये।

ये तो थी सांसद महोदय की बात लेकिन इस ऐतिहासिक और आधुनिक इंजीनियरिंग का नमूना रामपुरा अंडरपास के भव्य उद्घाटन समारोह के मौके पर उत्तरी दिल्ली नगर निगम के मेयर संजीव नैय्यर भी मौजूद थे -- जब हमने जनता के सामने ही जनता की शिकायत के बारे में इनसे बात की तो मेयर साहब इस बड़े गड़बड़झाले को छोटी मोटी शिकायत बता कर टाल मटोल ही करते दिखे।

जनता के खून पसीने के पैसे से बन रहे इस पुल में करोड़ रुपये से भी ज्यादा के गड़बड़झाले को मेयर साहब ने छोटी मोटी बात बता दी और जाँच का हवाला दे दिया। बाद में पार्टी के नेता पासिंग द बॉल गेम की तर्ज पर विरोधी पार्टियों पर ठीकरा फोड़ कर डैमेज कण्ट्रोल में जुट गए।
