Extending further the benefits of CM Scooty Scheme, Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti today distributed scooties among the 50 meritorious girl students of the district here.

Addressing the students on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the aim of launching the scheme is to provide better mobility to girl students so that they can chase their dreams in a better way and without any difficulty. She hoped the scheme would instill confidence among the girl students and they can concentrate better on studies and bring laurels to their parents and society.

Mehbooba Mufti said keeping the same objective in mind, her Government ordered the start of a ladies bus service in the capital cities of Srinagar and Jammu for the convenience of women commuters and possibilities would be explored to extend the said service to other districts as well..
