A video clip of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir’s anthem being played at the start of a game of cricket between two local Kashmiri teams is being widely shared in the Valley.

It purportedly shows members of Shining Star Pampore and Pulwama Tigers standing in deference as Azad Kashmir is played. Both sides are in blue jerseys.

HT can’t independently verify the authenticity of the video but according to locals, the footage is that of a club game in Pulwama in south Kashmir, the hotbed of militancy.
