.ब्राजील की यह जेल मनाओस शहर के अमेजन जंगल में है जहां दोनों गुटों की हिंसक झड़प में कैदियों और अधिकारियों समेत 60 लोगों को अपनी जान गंवानी पड़ी है। बताया जा रहा है कि जेल में दंगा कल देर रात भड़का और सुबह सात बजे तक इसपर काबू पा लिया गया था। सुरक्षा अधिकारियों की मानें तो दोनों गिरोह मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी से जुड़े है। इस हिंसा में मारे गए अधिकतर कैदियों के सिर धड़ से अलग है। कईयों को जिंदा ही जला दिया गया है।
