The 40-year-old rapper filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier today following a sex tape lawsuit that cost him a pretty large chunk of money. A jury recently awarded Lavonia Leviston a $5 million win after they determined the hip-hop star leaked a sex tape of her and another man.

Watch Earlier this morning, The Washington Post reported that 50 Cent filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and, as always, Twitter has had plenty of jokes. Many people are assuming that he's flat broke-especially in light of a recent lawsuit where a jury ordered him to pay $5 million to a woman who sued over a s*x tape that was posted without her permission. And his boxing promotions company, SMS Promotions, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy back in May. But that's probably not exactly the case. In the court docs, his assets and debts were each listed in the range of $10 million to $50 million-which automatically puts him into Chapter 11 territory based on the monetary amounts. Typically Chapter 11 bankruptcy simply means a reorganization of one's assets and debts-which isn't saying they haven't been poorly managed up until now for 50—but in light of the recent lawsuit against Lastonia Leviston, the mother of Rick Ross' child, this will give him some time to repay that $5 million.

ഇതാണ് ശമ്പള വര്‍ധനനവില്‍ നിന്ന് പിന്നോട്ട് പോകാന്‍ കമ്പനികളെ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചത്.

Detroit's emergency manager has filed a plan to restructure the city's debts in the wake of the largest municipal bankruptcy in US history.
The plan, awaiting approval from a bankruptcy judge, includes cuts to pensions and creditors to drive down the $18bn (£10.8bn) debt.
Funds would also be devoted to demolishing abandoned city properties.
The city initially filed for bankruptcy protection in July 2013.
'Best path forward'
'We must move swiftly to emerge from bankruptcy so that the financial distress harming the city can end,' state-appointed manager Kevyn Orr said in a statement.
'We maintain that the plan provides the best path forward for all parties to resolve their respective issues and for Detroit to become once again a city in which people want to invest, live and work,' he added.
Specifics of the debt relief plan include:
Creditors, including bond insurers, will receive an estimated 20% of their claims
Police and firefighter retirees will receive at least 90% of their pensions, and cost of living allowances will be eliminated
The Detroit Institute of Arts will keep its city-owned art collection, with assistance from foundations and private donors
$1.5bn will be allocated over 10 years to city infrastructure and technology upgrades
