1993 के मुंबई बम धमाकों के दोषी अंडरवर्ल्ड सरगना अबू सलेम को 7 साल की सजा मिली है। अबु सलेम को दिल्ली के व्यवसायी से पांच करोड़ रुपये की रंगदारी मांगने के मामले में दिल्ली कोर्ट ने अपना फैसला सुनाया है। दरअसल 2002 के इस मामले में कोर्ट ने गैंगस्टर अबु सलेम को पिछले महीने की 27 मई को दोषी करार दिया था। अतिरिक्त सत्र न्यायाधीश तरुण सहरावत ने सलेम को आपराधिक धमकी के लिए दोषी ठहराया था, जिसके बाद आज पर फैसला सुनाते हुए कोर्ट ने अबु सलेम को 7 साल सशक्त कारावास की सजा दी है। यहां पर बता दें कि दिल्ली के ग्रेटर कैलाश के रहने वाले एक व्यापारी अशोक ने 16 साल पहले सन 2002 में पांच करोड़ रुपये की रंगदारी मागने की शिकायत पुलिस के पास दर्ज कराई थी, जिसमें सलेम को आरोपी बनाया गया था।
