Kashmir's most wanted terrorist Lashkar-e-Toiba commander Abu Dujana was on Tuesday gunned down in a fierce encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, sources said.
Acting on specific information, the security forces consisting of Rashtriya Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Jammu and Kashmir police surrounded the Hakripora village at around 4 am.

Three militants of the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) were killed in an encounter with security forces in Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
A police personnel was also injured in the operation in Amargarh.
Police said that after receiving specific inputs, the Amargarh area was cordoned around midnight. The militants were hiding inside a house, and the gun battle began around 2am and ended at 5.55am, police said.
Though the fire fight ended, security forces launched a search operation, police said.
The bodies of all the three militants were recovered and they have been identified. Three AK-47 rifles were recovered from the slain militants.

“We requested the terrorists to surrender but they opened fire, we responded in the same way then,” Rajeshwar Jamwal,commanding officer of the Indian Army’s 52 Rashtriya Rifles, told the media.
