Jahangirpuri: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, broke his silence on the recent comments by former UPA minister Jayanthi Natarajan, who recently quit the party, by saying that he indeed asked her to protect environment as well as to protect interests of the poor and the Adivasis. Addressing a mammoth Congress election rally at Jahangirpuri in poll bound Delhi, the Congress leader said, “I want to reiterate that I will fight for the poor and Adivasis. I had told Jayanti to protect environment and also to protect the poor and Tribals. I am not scared of doing it. Till my last breath I will keep fighting for the slum-dwellers, Adivasis, the weak, the poor and underprivileged”..
