Carlos Tevez was 16 when he made his first professional appearance with Boca Juniors against Talleres de Córdoba on 21 October 2001. The team were also crowned champions of the Copa Libertadores of 2001 along with several other matches. By the winters of 2001, Tevez moved to Brazilian Série A club Corinthians for a fee of US$16 million cash followed by the West Ham United in 2006. With West Ham, the soccer master made his debut as a second-half substitute in the 1–1 home draw with Aston Villa on 10 September 2006.
