भाजपा MP और MLA में नोकझोंक, समर्थकों में चले लात-घूंसे
कम्बल वितरण के दौरान भारतीय जनता पार्टी के सांसद और विधायक में नोकझोंक के बाद समर्थकों में जमकर लात-घूंसे और कुर्सियां चलीं। एसडीएम के हस्तक्षेप पर पुलिसकर्मियों ने सांसद को एसडीएम कक्ष और विधायक को पड़ोस के कक्ष में ले जाकर बंद कर दिया। मारपीट में दोनों पक्षों के तीन-चार लोगों को चोटें आई हैं।
शनिवार को सीतापुर की महोली तहसील परिसर में तहसील प्रशासन ने कम्बल वितरण कार्यक्रम रखा था। दोपहर लगभग डेढ़ बजे धौरहरा संसदीय सीट से भाजपा सांसद रेखा वर्मा और महोली नगर पंचायत अध्यक्षा सरिता गुप्ता कम्बल वितरित कर रही थीं। लगभग पौने दो बजे महोली विधानसभा क्षेत्र से भाजपा विधायक शशांक त्रिवेदी पहुंच गए और वो भी अपने समर्थकों को कम्बल वितरित करने लगे।
सांसद ने वितरण में अव्यवस्था को लेकर नाराजगी जताई तो विधायक और सांसद में नोकझोंक होने लगी। आसपास खड़े दोनों के समर्थकों ने एक-दूसरे पर लात-घूंसे और कुर्सियों से हमला बोल दिया। मौके पर मौजूद महोली एसडीएम बृजपाल सिंह ने सुरक्षाकर्मियों से कह कर सांसद और विधायक समर्थकों को बाहर खदेड़वाया। इसके बाद सांसद रेखा वर्मा को अपने कक्ष में और विधायक शशांक त्रिवेदी को बगल वाले कक्ष में ले जाकर कमरा बंद करवा दिया।
मौके पर सीओ सदर अंकित कुमार भारी फोर्स के साथ पहुंचे। समर्थकों में तनाव के मद्देनजर पिसावां और इमलिया सुलतानपुर थाने से भी फोर्स बुलवा ली गई। जानकारी पाकर भाजपा जिलाध्यक्ष अजय गुप्ता और जिलाधिकारी डा. सारिका मोहन, पुलिस अधीक्षक आनन्द कुलकर्णी भी पहुंच गए।
