नजीबाबाद के एक होटल में आयोजित शांति समिति की बैठक में डीएम और एसपी ने जनता से साम्प्रदायिक सौहार्द कायम रखने और एक दूसरे की धांर्मिक भावनाओं का सम्मान करने की बात कही। साथ असमाजिक तत्वों से सख्ती से निपटने की चेतावनी भी दी। बिजनौर एसपी उमेश कुमार ने कहा कि एक दूसरे की धार्मिक भावनाओं का ध्यान वा सौहार्दपूर्ण वातापरण बनाए रखने में सभी का सहयोग जरूरी है। पुलिस हर वर्ग और संप्रदाय की सुरक्षा के लिए तत्पर है। दशहरा- दीपावली के मद्देनजर आयोजित बैठक में एसडीएम डॉ पंकज वर्मा ने नजीबाबाद की जनता की प्रशंसा की उन्होनें कहा कि नगर में गंगा जमुनी तहजीब मिसाल के रूप में जानी जाती है। इसे पूरी तरह से बरकरार रखा जाएगा। डीएम अटल राय ने सौहार्द कायम रखने के लिए समाज के हर वर्ग को जिम्मेदार बताया। सीओ अरूण कुमार, कोतवाल डीएस धामा ने भी संबोधित किया इस मौके पर नगर के व्यापारी व सामाजिक संगठन के लोग मौजूद रहे।

आजमगढ़ में नवरात्र व विजयदशमी को लेकर शहर में जगह-जगह मूर्ति पंडालों की स्थापना की गई है। पिछले दिनों भदोही और कानपुर में हुए हादसों से सबक लेते हुए पुलिस प्रशासन आजमगढ़ में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर कोई भी कोताही नहीं करना चाहता और इसको लेकर लगातार मूर्ति कमेटी व रामलीला समिति को सचेत किया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में नवमी के अवसर पर मंगलवार को दिन में अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक नगर शैलेंद्र लाल व अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक यातायात सुधीर जायसवाल ने फोर्स के साथ आजमगढ़ शहर के तमाम इलाकों में पहुंचकर स्थापित मूर्ति पंडालों की जांच की और वहां के सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर लोगों को आगाह किया। वहीं शहर में उमड़ने वाली भीड़ को लेकर भी ट्रैफिक व्यवस्था को सुचारू किया गया है और जगह-जगह पुलिस की तैनाती की गई है। वाहनों की पार्किंग कहां होनी है। वाहन किधर से होकर जाएंगे। यह सब रूट निर्धारित कर दिया गया है। महिलाओं व बच्चों की भीड़ उमड़ती है। इसीलिए पैदल शहर की घनी आबादी में पैदल आने-जाने के लिए निर्धारित किया गया है। वाहनों को पार्किंग के लिए अलग-अलग स्थान निर्धारित किए गए हैं।
