Interacting with students, Rahul Gandhi said we need to build our education system around them. 'If you want to become a social worker then we will support you in becoming a good social worker, if you want to become an engineer, we will support you in becoming an engineer'.
We need to become more centric to what people want. To provide more jobs we need to have infrastructure in place that supports those jobs. That means we need to have power, better connectivity, roads, bridges, ports. Compared to other countries, India is doing very well. We have become the second fastest growing country in the world.
The reason for majority of conflicts arising in this country is lack of decentralisation of power. We want to decentralise political power and give it to our youth. We need to give them a voice in the government. We want them to become our future MLA's, MP's, Chief Ministers and Prime Minister.
Citing the problem of monopoly over education by a select few people, Rahul Gandhi says unless this monopoly is over-thrown neither will our education system change nor will our political system change.
Because it's you who are the future and our change makers..
