11 साल का एक भारतीय बच्चा जल्द ही यूरोप की सबसे ऊंची पर्वतचोटी एलब्रूस की चढ़ाई करने वाला है। अगर वो इस चोटी पर चढ़ने में कामयाब होता है, तो वह इस चोटी पर चढ़ने वाला सबसे कम उम्र का भारतीय पर्वतारोही बन जाएगा। 20 अगस्त से आर्यन ने एलब्रूस की चढ़ाई करना शुरू कर दी है। इस चोटी पर चढ़ने से पहले आर्यन ने अपने माता-पिता के साथ अलग-अलग ऊंचाइयों की चोटियों पर अनेक दिन गुजारे हैं, ताकि वो यहां की जलवायु के अनुकूल हो जाए और पर्वतारोहण का पूर्वाभ्यास भी कर ले। विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार एलब्रूस विश्व के सात महाद्वीपों के सात सबसे ऊंचे पर्वतों में शामिल चोटियों सहित कई चोटियों के मुकाबले तकनीकी रूप से मुश्किल पर्वत नहीं है, लेकिन ऊंचाई परिवर्तन और तेज़ हवा और जमा देने वाली ठंड की वजह से अनुभवी पर्वतारोहियों के लिए भी इस पर चढ़ाई करना काफी मुश्किलभरा होता है। जब बालाजी से पूछा गया कि एलब्रूस की चढ़ाई करने की बात से क्या आपको डर नहीं लगता, तो 11 साल के मासूम बच्चे ने मुस्कुराते हुए कहा कि डर तो नहीं, लेकिन थोड़ी उत्तेजना जरूर है।
एंकर- 11 साल के आर्यन बालाजी के साहस की यह पहली गाथा नहीं है, इससे पहले भी कई पर्वतों पर चढ़ने का कीर्तिमान उनके नाम दर्ज है। यहां तक की खेलकूद और सामाजिक सेवाओं में उन्हें राष्ट्रपति से राष्ट्रीय बाल पुरस्कार भी मिला है।
