Syed Salahuddin, the Hizbul Mujahideen leader, has begun playing an increasingly active and aggressive role in terrorist operations over the last month, latest intelligence reports have said. Salahuddin has been visiting terror launch pads on the line of control, particularly opposite Macchil and Gurez in Jammu and Kashmir to motivate terrorists in his outfit.
