Rajya Sabha MP Javed Akhtar in his last speech in parliament just before end of his term today attacked Asaduddiin Owaisi for Owaisi's refusal to chant 'Bharat Mata Ki Jay' slogan. Javed Akhtar in his speech said 'Bharat Mata Ki Jay' thrice criticizing Owaisi whom he called a leader of single locality in Hyderabad city of Andhra Pradesh who thinks he is national leader. Javed Akhtar in same breath also criticized the slogan of 'Musalman ke do his sthan - Kabrastan aur Pakistan'. Javed Akhtar questioned Owaisi's stand that constitution doesn't compels him to chant 'Bharat Mata Ki Jay'. Akhtar said, to chant Bharat Mata ki jay is the right he is blessed with. Javed Akhtar also criticized fringe elements right from the ministry in central government to the ground.
