कोठीपुरा में निर्माणाधीन एम्स के कार्य में स्थानीय बेरोजगारों को रोजगार न दिए जाने से खफा बिलासपुर सदर के पूर्व विधायक बंबर ठाकुर ने बड़े स्तर पर आंदोलन शुरू करने का ऐलान कर दिया है। बंबर ठाकुर का कहना है कि राज्य में 70:30 रेशो के तहत प्रोजेक्टों में बेरोजगारों को रोजगार देने का प्रावधान लागू है, बावजूद इसके बिलासपुर में नियमों की धज्जियां उड़ाई जा रही हैं। हैरत भरा यह है कि मजदूृर से लेकर इंजीनियर तक सभी बाहरी राज्यों से लगाए गए हैं। जिला में केवल दो बड़े रसूखदार ठेकेदारों को काम मिला है जिसके लिए वह बीजेपी के राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा का धन्यवाद करना चाहेंगे कि स्थानीय लोगों के हितों को दरकिनार करते हुए इन बड़े ठेकेदारों को तरजीह दी गई।
