विलेज डिफेंस कमेटी का नाम सुनते ही आतंकी भी थर-थर कांपने लगते हैं। ये न तो किसी के दुश्मन हैं न ही किसी के दोस्त, जिसने भी देश के खिलाफ गद्दारी करने की कोशिश की समझो उसकी खैर नहीं। कश्मीर में आतंकवाद के खात्मे के आखिरी पड़ाव में सेना ने एक बार फिर विलेज डिफेंस कमेटी को जंग के मैदान में उतारने की तैयारी कर ली है। बॉर्डर पर लगातार तनातनी और आतंकियों की घुसपैठ को रोकने के लिए सेना अब विलेज डिफेंस कमेटी की मदद लेगी। इसके लिए सेना ने विलेज डिफेंस कमेटी को फिर से ट्रेनिंग मुहैया करानी शुरू कर दी है, ताकि गांव में आए किसी भी तरह के संकट के वक्त VDC आतंकियों को खदेड़ सके। विलेज डिफेंस कमेटी को बुधल इलाके में बाकायदा सेना की तरफ से ट्रेनिंग दी जा रही है और इसमें हथियार चलाने और पुराने हथियारों के रख-रखाव के भी गुर सिखाए जा रहे हैं।Watch LOC पर घुसपैठियों को मार भगाने के लिए ‘नया हथियार’, VDC बनेगी Army की मददगार With HD Quality.
